Workspace 5 Robot Simulation

I have the Kuka KR500 robot and the LabView simulator software. I am attempting to simulate a task which requires using the Robot to grab and pull a bale from a pallet and place it into a bin.

I have an image of the system (see the attached image), which includes the arm, the patter that would be placed on the robot, the bin, and a dummy bale.

I have the robot logged into the workspace using the included software.

My question is, how do I simulate the robot taking the bale and placing it in the bin?

I am trying to use the software and not just a program on the robot.

I also have an image of the workspaces and a description of the expected motion of the robot (see Figure 1, below), along with the geometries of the bale and bin (see Figure 2 and 3, below).

Figure 1, below, shows the result of the “Fill bale” task.

Figure 2, below, shows the geometry of the bale.

Figure 3, below, shows the bin.

I have uploaded an image of my workspace simulation results and a video recording of the robot trying to place the bale into the bin.

As you can see in the video, the robot arms are attempting to lift and pull the bale from the pallet (see Figure 4, below).

A complete layout of the scene is provided in figure 5, below, but in this example I only show the Robonaut with the bale in its hand (which is not the correct pose of the actual robot).

I hope this all makes sense. I would like to be able to get the robot to correctly place the bale into the bin.
